Great place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a large variety of choices on the menu and they have specials every night. Both the owner and staff go that extra mile to make your meal very enjoyable.

The Cove is a great place to get a simple meal. Breakfasts are awesome. Lunch menu great and dinners are always great. Service and staff always fast and friendly. Reasonable prices.

Great fish and chips!! Halibut is top notch..great , friendly atmosphere. A must try!!!

Large Group Occasion

I booked a party for 35 on Sat July 15/17. Rob the owner kept in contact made sure everything I asked for was taken care of. The staff was fantastic. They had all orders in and going. No one had to wait for food for a long period of time. Food was great. Will definitely go back for large group occasions. Amazing Experience!

From the moment we walked in, greeted with smiles and instant feeling of comfort. All service staff were friendly and very helpful. The food, where do we start ... a simple breakfast made so tasty , and the French Toast scored a Ten out of Ten with my son.

If you are wanting a great breakfast, that comes with top of the line service and home comfort ...this is the place for you and your family or friends..

We will back for sure to try out their Fish and Chips!!!

My husband and I stopped by to check out The Cove earlier this month and were very impressed by the great and attentive service. The new owner has worked his magic and the daily specials are always a treat and plentiful. If you're looking for great value, friendly service and just great home cooking, this is THE place!

A New Owner.... New specials!

Hadn't been to the Cove in a while... Went back as I heard there was new ownership. Great comfort food! Rob, the new owner, has been making delicious daily lunch and dinner specials... Like the stuffed pork tenderloin awesome!! The staff is super friendly and are amazing servers. We will be back soon too see what the daily special will be!

Fish & Chips from Heaven

Had never been there but heard good things, went in for lunch, was told to try the fish, it was amazing......will go back soon.

Still the best fish & chips!! This was my second visit to The Cove Cafe and once again it did not disappoint. Service was a little slow but it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. The waitress did apologize. As I was with my girlfriends, we didn't mind. The fish and chips were e en better than last time, I didn't think they could get better. Will go back and maybe I will try something different but it will be hard to do that.

Wonderful Food

The Cove Cafe is a very friendly family restaurant. The meals are home made and wonderful portions! Their desserts are all made on site. The breakfast menu is a good value. My husband and I order the special Sunday mornings! The dinners and lunches are also good value.

Excellent fish & chips

We have been to The Cove a couple of times now, and absolutely love it. Service is fast and friendly, with a menu offering the comfort foods of home. We love the fish and chips. Enjoy.

Very friendly home style restaurant

Our meal was superb and it was two for one night. Everything came piping hot and the waitress was really organized and made a complicated order seem easy.

Will go back to the Cove Cafe

Since I am new to the neighbourhood, I decided after reading the reviews here that I should give it a try and I'm glad I did. I ordered liver and onions and was pleasantly surprised at the fine meal that ended up being. The liver was perfect and the mashed potatoes amazing; I thought that the huge portion was going to be to much so ended up with two meals for the price of one. I did ask them to put a bit more potato into the takeout container and will have it for lunch tomorrow. I will certainly go back and try some of their other offerings, hopefully as good as the liver was.

Best homemade food around. Tucked away in a small strip mall in Innisfil across from Sandycove Park this restaurant has the best homemade food ever. Just like eating at home. Wonderful down to earth meals, great desserts all homemade. Often difficult to find a booth because everyone knows a great place to eat and goes regularly. Different specials each day. Reasonably priced. Take out or eat in. A favorite of mine and many,many friends.Try it and you'll be hooked.Open 7 days a week.

My husband and I have visited the Cove Cafe on many, many occasions. The staff is always kind, courteous, friendly and efficient. It is a restaurant with a small town feel, with a big heart. It caters to all age groups, with a special emphasis to the seniors that live close to the cafe. The food has always been very good and now that they are opening up a special pizza and ice cream area it will only help increase their appeal to everyone. By the way their pizza is amazing. Their prices are very, very reasonable.

I have been to this restaurant many times now. Both my husband, self and friends find the food here to be very tasty with fair prices. They also offer dinner specials and their desserts are home made. The apple and peach pies are absolutely delicious. The restaurant was renovated not long ago and is very nice inside. They also have a quaint little tea room which is divided by french doors from the main dining area and they recently added a separate pizza place next door which also sells Kawartha dairy ice cream.

We held my father's 80th birthday at The Cove. We went there ahead of time to decorate. The Cove was closed to the general public that evening, to the disappointment of some regulars. It was without a doubt the best 80th party. Lou's staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was EXCELLENT. We are still getting rave reviews from friends and relatives as far away as Tennessee. The food was a delectable roast beef with gravy, chicken with a wine sauce (that people said they could drink), roast potatoes, mixed veggies, a beautiful salad with light dressing, rolls and homemade desserts. It was a overall great eating and party experience. Kudos to Lou and staff. Thank you.

I quickly realized upon going inside this place that it was likely a gem. I went around dinner with a friend to find the cafe/restaurant nearly full. There were many people in the 60 plus category eating there which is a sign of good prices and good food. The food was excellent, It's simple well cooked and fresh. The portions were great. They had an assortment of at least homemade pies that looked outstanding. My friend has the coconut cream pie which had lots of fresh coconut in. I had the cheesecake but I think their pies are definitely the way to go.

If you haven't visited The Cove since its renovation, it is worth a visit. The food is excellent, the waitress knows her stuff and the ambience is family. Everything arrived in good order. Hot, tasty and timely. We've also put them on our favourite Innisfil/Barrie breakfast list.

I recently had breakfast at The Cove Cafe with my daughter for the first time and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, fresh and hot and the portions were generous. In addition, the prices are more than fair. The atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. They even have an adorable separate tea room on one side of the restaurant and a ice cream parlour on the other side. We were very pleased with our experience and will be definitely visiting again.

We enjoy eating at 'The Cove'. The food is always very good, and served very hot. The staff is very pleasant, and eager to please. We have never had anything to complain about, and eat there on a regular basis. They have pizza's for take out now and they are excellent. The desserts are freshly made, I recommend the millionaires pie. We do not drive to Barrie or Bradford anymore, Lou (the owner), has provided the area with a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The Cove is a hidden treasure, if you enjoy home-cooked meals. Each time I have visited this cafe I have received friendly, quick service. Last week I had fish and chips from Jenny's - it was delicious. Try this location for yourself........it's comfortable and well worth a visit.

Small family run establishment right next to Sandycove a Retirement Community . They cater to a mostly Breakfast and Lunch crowd and have a Dinner service as well . Recently added a Pizza section as well as Fish and Chips . Valentines day special was Prime Rib so the food ranges from very simple to their Holiday Specials . Its a gathering place most mornings for many of Sandycoves Residents and Club Members . Great staff and very clean

Recently they have added fresh fish and chips and we have had them a few times. You can sit in and have them or take them home and I must say they are delicious and not too expensive. The homemade soups are usually very good and so are the pies. We enjoy going there in the summer as it is a 10 minute walk from our home - winter time we don't go quite so much. everything we have tried, sandwiches, breakfast, soup, desserts have always been to our satisfaction.
